Note from Sra. Nelson

Dear Las Palmas Community,

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year at Las Palmas Elementary School. It is going to be a great year ahead.  We are expanding our garden and making an outdoor learning classroom.  Our field has been improved greatly and students can't wait to get out there and play.  We are also starting a new language arts program and our teachers are excited to get teaching with the new materials.  We love our STEAM Lab, redone library, and all the wonderful staff that makes this school so special.

The Las Palmas teachers are some of the best and most talented teachers in the entire school district.  Multi-cultural, multi-linguistic, and multi-talented.  You simply can't ask for more.

The world is a big place and we enjoy opening the window to this world each and every day to the 800 students at Las Palmas.
