Dear Las Palmas Community,

Welcome to the 2011-2012 academic school year at Las Palmas Elementary School.  I am looking forward to another wonderful year as the principal of this great school..  This school is such a unique gem found among the choices of elementary schools in our area and we welcome each and every family who walks through our front doors.  We feel honored to be able to be a part of your family in this special way.

The year ahead will be an exciting one.  We will be adding new technology to classrooms, running after school enrichment classes, and focusing on strengthening our Spanish langauge and culture program. We are looking forwward to offering your children a great year ahead.  The Las Palmas teachers are some of the best and most talented teachers in the entire school district.  Multi-cultural, multi-linguistic, and multi-talented.  You simply can't ask for more.

The world is a big place and we enjoy opening the window to this world each and every day to the 700 students at Las Palmas.
